O nosso grande projecto para 2013 - Dia 7!! / Our big project for 2013 - Day 7!!

 

Sábado!       /      Saturday!

 

Começamos as 11 h... Com problemas para resolver... ou seja, no hall de entrada, a parte que viram em cimento, mesmo assim ficou muito alto... tivemos de colocar o chão, sem a camada de espuma por baixo... não podíamos tirar o cimento não é?! Vamos ver quais são as consequencias a médio ou longo prazo...

We started 11 am ... With problems to solve ... ie, in the lobby, the party you saw in cement, was still too high ... we had to put the floor without the foam layer underneath ... we could not get the cement is not?! Ainda faltam alguns cantos e na despensa ainda faltam duas tábuas, que iremos acabar amanha. Faltam os remates e os rodapés no hall e na cozinha. O papel de parede e provavelmente alguns outros detalhes...

To finish our major project of 2013, there are still some corners of the closet and there are still two boards, which  we will end tomorrow. Missing the trim and baseboards in the hall and the kitchen. The wallpaper and probably some other details ...

Hoje só colocamos o rodapé...muito cansadinhos... mas ficou um charme...

Hoje foi o dia de colocar o rodapé e cortar as portas...

Ainda não colamos o rodapé, porque queremos colocar o papel de parede primeiro. E ainda não colocamos o papel de parede porque estamos a procura dos três b; bom, bonito e barato.

Yes! Yes! Yes! O computador já desbloqueou, deve ter ficado assustado com a falta de luz! 

Fim do segundo dia!! A sala ficou completa...

A nossa sala vazia...  /  Our empty living room...

Para a sala ficar assim, o resto das divisões ficaram assim:  /  To keep the room like this, the rest of the rooms are like this:

A confusão faz-me confusão!  /  The confusion makes me confused!

E o início foi assim:  /  And the beginning was like this

Coisas difíceis e aborrecidas de fazer:  /  Difficult and boring things to do:

E, no fim do primeiro fim de tarde de trabalho, ficou assim:  /  And, at the end of the first evening of work, looked like this:

Esta obra tem estado a ser feita no final do dia de trabalho, e por isso não avança tão depressa como gostaríamos, mas não podemos fazer barulho à noite, por causa dos vizinhos, por isso estamos limitados no tempo e, digamos que, o corpinho também vai oferecendo alguma resistência...

This work has being done at the end of the workday, and therefore does not go as fast as we would like, but we can not make noise at night because of the neighbors, so we are limited in time and let's say, that body is also offering some resistance ...

Dia após dia, iremos relatar a evolução deste projecto, que já está pensado há algum tempo e, à laia de resolução de Ano Novo, finalmente tivemos coragem de o iniciar...

Day after day, we will report the evolution of this project, which is already thought for some time and, in the way of New Year's resolution, we finally had the courage to start ...

A nossa sala teve um problema de infiltração de água que, só este ano o condomínio conseguiu resolver e, até ao momento, pensamos que ficou bem resolvido. Por isso, chegou a altura de recuperar o interior...

Our living room had a water infliltration problem, that only this year  the condominium managed to solve and so far, we think it was well resolved. Therefore, it is time to recover the inside ...

Vêem ao fundo, por baixo da janela, a tinta a levantar?  /  See the bottom, beneath the window, the paint up?

Retirar os rodapés, com escopro e martelo ( demorou 5 minutos!) e lixar a parede.../  Remove the baseboards, with chisel and hammer (took 5 minutes!) And sand the wall ...

Depois de retirar tudo o que está solto, cobrimos com massa de estuque e uma espátula, que é só aplicar, e voltar a lixar até a parede ficar completamente lisa ( demora mais de 5 minutos...muito mais...! )

Caixas de chão laminado. Nós optamos por um chão que imita o soalho do tempo das avós... ( porque é que não se diz, "...do tempo dos avôs?" )  /  Boxes of laminate floor. We choose a floor that mimics the floor of  Grannies time... 

P.S. - O chão não é só para a sala... o que levanta uma série de problemas...
