E lá vamos nós outra vez...  /  Here we go again...

O mais aborrecido é sempre a preparação ( pôr fita isoladora, tirar as coisas da parede, tapar buracos,  esvaziar a divisão o mais possível, cobrir o chão )

The most annoying is always the preparation (put insulating tape, take the things from the wall, fill the holes, empty the division as much as possible, cover the floor)

Desta vez pintamos a caixa dos estores que ainda tinha restos do antigo visual, ou seja, na cor da madeira

Estava tão fartinha da parede azul...  /  I was so tired of the blue wall ...

O tecto também foi pintado porque embora utilize muito pouca a lareira, das poucas vezes que foi usada ( sempre no Natal e/ ou Ano Novo ) deixou uma névoa no tecto...

Início da obra: que diferença!!! Comecei logo a ficar deliciada...

Eu deitada no sofá enquanto o A. pintava :) :)  /  I lying on the couch while A. painted :) :)

Primeira imagem dos móveis a voltarem ao lugar ( mas para um lugar diferente ) e a grande alteração: os cortinados:

Decidimos colocar cortinados a apanhar toda a parede e desde o tecto, o que amplia o espaço. 

Para o efeito, compramos três conjuntos de cortinados do Ikea ( 23 euros cada par ), cosi-os entre si, ou seja três para cada lado e fiz a bainha ( os tais mais de 8 metros ). Confesso que deu algum trabalho, essencialmente por ser muito muito tecido. Mas valeu a pena.

We decided to put curtains hanging from wall to wall and from the ceiling, which amplifies the space.

For this purposewe we bought three sets of curtains from Ikea (23 euros each pair), sewed them together, ie three for each side and made the sheath (more then 8 meters). I admit it took some work, essentially for being too much fabric. But it was well worth.

A antiga mesa de televisão era demasiado baixinha e sempre gostamos deste móvel, da família da mesa de centro, por isso desta vez fomos buscá-lo.Os puxadores provavelmente vão ser mudados! E, tive de fazer uma concessão... como podem ver só está um dos cadeirões, o A. diz que não cabe ou que vai ficar muito cheio ( mas eu ainda vou ver ... )

The old TV table was too short and we always liked this furniture, from the family of the coffee table, so this time we get it. The handles are probably going to be changed! And I had to make a concession ... as you can see is only one of the chairs, A. says that does not fit or it will get too full (but I still want to check ...)

Como podem ver retiramos as prateleiras e quase tudo das paredes. Por cima do sofá fazia falta uma luz, por isso fomos buscar um dos meus favoritos do Ikea:

As you can see we removed the shelves and almost all of the walls. Above the couch was missing a light, so we picked one of my favorites from Ikea:

E como realmente gosto muito da minha aguarela e da aguarela que nos foi dada pela irmã do A. alusiva a Amesterdão, compramos uma prateleira só para os colocar:

A lareira é capaz de levar ainda uma volta porque parece-me que tem objectos a mais, não sei... está ainda em fase de estudo...

The fireplace can still take a turn because I think it has to many objects, don't know ... is still being studied ...

Casa da D. - Depois / House of D. - After

Espero que me desculpem a minha falta de ontem, mas tenho mais de 8 metros de cortinado para coser... acho que amanhã já mostro aqui no Blog.

A semana passada deixei-vos aqui umas fotografias do Antes do novo projecto da D. ( aqui ) e agora mostro-vos o que ela anda a fazer:

Last week I left you some photos of the Before from the new project of D. (here) and now I show you what she's doing:

Comprou um sofá, que tem de ser cama, porque o espaço não é a maior riqueza da casa:

She bought a sofa, which has to be also a bed because the space is not the greatest richness of the house:

E a cor do sofá foi o mote para a escolha da restante decoração, que vai ser em cinza, amarelo e madeiras naturais:

Esta bobine das obras cruzou-se com ela pelo caminho e, decidiu de imediato pedi-la, tendo-lhe sido oferecida:

A casa tem muita luz, quer pela enorme porta para a varanda, quer pela janela que tem no telhado e por isso é preciso comprar cortinados blackout, para não ter de acordar com as galinhas:

Miscelânea / Miscellany

Este fim-de-semana andamos de volta da nossa sala. Finalmente vai levar uma pintura nova, porque apesar de não se notar muito, o que é certo é que tem uma parede creme, outra em azul muito suave e papel de parede em branco e cinzento. E vamos mudar os cortinados que vão passar a ocupar toda a parede, vamos ver como fica. Entretanto, aqui ficam umas imagens que chamaram a minha atenção:

This weekend we walk back to our living room. Finally will have a new painting because despite we don't notice to much, it has a cream wall, another in very soft blue and wallpaper in white and gray. And we'll change the curtains that will now occupy the entire wall, let's see how it looks. Meanwhile, here are some pictures that caught my attention:
